The Mic-Muff has been tested and used in a variety of applications. Typically, the Mic-Muff will
provide up to 20db of wind noise reduction in a 20 MPH wind with virtually no negative effect on
frequency response.
The MM-i fits Sony  DCR-VX 1000 2000 and 2100 fits directly over the microphone without a foam windshield and on the Sony ECM-MS907 and 908C it fits over the factory installed foam windscreen
